1/4 glass

If anyone has done their own 1/4 glass and how did you take the glass out of the frame and what did you put it back in with? Brought it to the glass shop and he says you have to heat up the frame and might break it. That ain't happening!!!

No heat is needed.  I "tap" them out with a hammer on the edge and then replace the felt and tape (rubber gasket) and tap them back in.  Cut tape after window is in.

Thanks Cody, that's how I did the windows on my 51. Didn't want to take a chance and break something on these before Carlisle. Why do you have so many clamps on the frame? I know about the tape is there felt in there somewhere too?

I glue the felt in place.
