340 4-barrel emblems

Is there anyone here that knows the difference between these emblems. I have a chance to buy a pair but they are 7" long
This is slightly longer than a set off of a 73 Challenger. Also the lettering is red instead of Hemi orange. Anybody know?

I don't think so. They are in the next province so I can't see them up close. Trying to figure it out by measurements

I'm only aware of two "340 Four Barrel" emblems used on Challengers.  One for the steel bulge hood and one for the shaker hood.  Those emblems are identical other than the number (and size) of the mounting pins on the back.  The overall length of the emblem and the shape/size of the numbers/letters is identical.  I don't have any experience with 340 b-bodies and I am aware of "340 Magnum" emblems but I have never seen a "340 Four Barrel" emblem that was a different size/length than those used on Challengers.  I'll post some measurements for you tomorrow.

Mine are for sale if interested. New, bought from local dealer in 1986-88..somewhere in there. I'm in Canada, if you are in the usa, shipping could be pricey
