As I continued disassembly, I found more rust. :pullinghair:

No surprised honestly. I knew it would happen.

I have corrosion behind the hood hinge mount locations on both inner fenders, and some corrosion around the shock towers.   Gotta add a pair of inner fenders to the shopping list.

AMD has the pair in stock for 72-74, but out of stock on the 70-71.  Looking at the photos, I cannot tell much if any of a difference in the 2--Maybe a few extra holes in one vs the other.

Are the stampings the same, but with different holes?   Or did AMD cut corners and use a 'file photo' instead of photographing the actual parts?

Thanks!

IIRC 1970 is different.  Maybe just the PS is shaped differently.  I think 71-74 is shaped the same.  There will be differences in the mounting hole locations though.

Well, I guess we'll see.... I've asked Roseville what they have in stock, I've asked AMD what their production schedule is; or if they're discontinuing the parts....  I may go with a newer style inner fender just to get the car done since I don't care about a 100% factory correct resto.

First post 72-74 with the change circled

Second post 70-71 parts... The drivers side would bother me, it's right up front & in your face..

Update, AMD says they will have the 1970-71 style inner fender pairs back in stock in November, so I'll wait it out.

However, some of the other metal I need won't be available till January 2022.
