72-74 Challenger Header Panel

What would you recommend using to remove years of old paint and god knows what without damaging it? I was thinking of doing a glass beading the same time I head the fender louvers since the glass shouldn't be too abrasive. Chime in with any better options you may have

I did mine with a chemical paint stripper. It was probably 'polystrip'.

Glass beading would still pit the fiberglass. Check and see what Corvette guys are using.

The "grill" is the gray or black plastic piece that fits inside the header panel.

A lot of what I am seeing from the Vette guys in different discussions is to go with Soda Blasting. I had been thinking of getting a Harbor Freight pressurized blaster... could be a good reason to now haha.

Update: Nah I'll just use some chemical on it.
