Going over my recently purchased 73 challenger and noticed this "fold" in the rear of the drivers side inner rocker.
I'm assuming this isn't supposed to be there as the other side doesn't have the fold but I thought I would check before I fix it.

Bullitt-

I think what your seeing is a drain which should be there... there's a couple along the bottom of the rocker if I recall correctly

For some reason my phone is fighting me as far as posting photos.
Definitely not a vent opening; you could put 2 fingers into the inside of the rocker at that rear bottom corner; the rocker was full of sand; obviously the car has been driven on gravel roads lots in its past!

Nothing you could put a finger in.... maybe a large flat blade screwdriver ..

found this photo looking straight up at a drain, maybe a couple of inches long at most

That's where it is; that inner rocker corner that is open for the vent has been bent inward and upwards making a bigger opening into the rocker in that corner.
Thanks for the photo; I will try and put it back as it should be

Looks to me like the car is getting ready to shed its skin and turn into a Cuda.  :D
