Man what a pain !  the spring on the plate made it a pain to get it off. I took off my rear license plate bracket too clean it up .
So is there any way easier to put it back on?

:pullinghair: I completely feel your pain on this one . . . and there is not that I am aware of . . .  :dunno:

I typically just put a screw driver in one hole while starting the bolt in the other.. :dunno:
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

I just did mine.  Takes a little creativity for 1 person.  Somehow I was able to hold it open with one hand and use a long extension with socket in the other to start the bolt by hand.

I've never tried this, but if it's the two screws you're trying to get in, id bend a piece of flat steel about the size of a ruler at roughly 50 degrees or so, tape it up to prevent scratches, and wedge it in to hold the "mouse trap" in place while starting the screws. One could bet assembly line workers had some contraption.
