Im looking for help from owners of original 70 Challengers. I've gotten my hands on a beautiful pair of OEM/(maybe NOS) Challenger fenders that don't appear to have seen the road. However, someone has done a fair job of welding up the slots that I've heard either accommodate a 71 grill, or perhaps the 72-74 grill and I'd like them to perfectly duplicate the 1970 as they'd have come from the factory. Looking for downward photos from fairly original 1970 models. I'll post this pic from the internet to better show what I'm after. I won't be around my shop for a little while due to work. School me on different years please, so I can make a note of it.

Thank you @6bblgt   That helps. I'd still like to see original 70 fender pics to make sure.

Rich G.

These are original fenders. Hopefully you can blow up the picture.

@Rich G. Now that's what I was looking for!  Got any pics looking down on each side?

 besides the "notch" the hood stop was relocated

@6bblgt so you're saying it should be located where you've drawn the nut or where it's depicted in the star for 70?
