Currently building a chassis jig to completely fix the terrible body and frame rail work done to my car.  I'm taking It down to the rails, replacing complete rear quarters, trunk floor, etc.  I have the 1970 datum point chart and I can see where the front frame rail points are and how far apart they are supposed to be - 34" - the far front frame rail datum point is 56 5/8" inches away from this point but without knowing how far apart they are supposed to be I only have my car to measure and I'm trying to do better than that. The datum points on the transmission crossmember is 37" apart. If anyone has a car up on a rotisserie right now I would be really thankful for some measurements.

I have my 70 Challenger RT on rotisserie. I understand it's longer than a Cuda, but if I could somehow help, hit me up.

That's great since both cars share the same front subframe assembly, here is a picture of what I was looking for, the distance from the center of the front datum point to the center of the datum point on the transmission crossmember - blue dots, and the distance between the front frame rails at the centerpoints of the red dotted datum points, thanks again.  Can't wait to finish my chassis jig, use it and then sell it ASAP

Your blue dot measurement is tough to get accurately as the front blue dot sits roughly 9" higher than the one on the transmission cross member's point. Can you give me a contact number or call the contact number I list on my profile? Car is currently rotated.

Center to center on the 1" holes for your red dot measurement, I'm getting a consistent 44-1/16" using a 72" aluminum straight edge/ruler.

With a two dimensional print, things get together, but I marked exact center line of each red dot indicated hole, then dropped a 12" square from the front frame rail flange. I then laid out my 6' ruler and obtained a reading at 61-3/8". Other than the true squareness of the flange the 12" square was against, I'm very confident of the measurement obtained. I can do more, just call me.

The amount of help I've gotten from some of the people on this forum makes paying it forward a duty. Just shout if you need anything further verified. You're doing something kind of important there. Glad to help.
