Correct Finish

Hi Guys, What is the correct finish for the stiffener on the firewall between the master cylinder and pedal assembly? Natural, satin black or is it body color? Mine was body color, but the car has been painted numerous times including the engine bay.

 Not body color, not natural. Satin black.

On 1970 power brake cars it's painted black as part of the assembly, otherwise it's black like mentioned
