Unfortunately I think I know the answer to this one, but there are no pivot bushings that are supposed to take up this slop, right?

I currently do not have a torsion bar on the decklid because my chassis is setup for a single and a single won't hole up my spoiler. Obviously, have a bit of slop in the hinge.

If there is no bushing, I'll need a new hinge or drill my current one round and make a bushing for it. [emoji53]

Either drill it out and make a bushing or find another hinge. Check with Tony's or Ebay.  I think I gave 40.00 for the last nice pair I bought on Ebay.

I had the same issue. Presently I tack welded two washers which I had reamed to the shaft size and centered. One on each side.  Since I'm not in paint at this time, I'm thinking maybe I should make or have made a couple of bushings or bronze inserts.

I have a single torsion bar on my deck lid with spoiler and it will hold it up just fine. Just have to lower it a little before releasing or it will slam closed hard.

I usually keep various pieces of pipe etc. for making odd bushings and such.
