Door mirror drops

Hi All,

The mirror in my passenger door mirror keeps changing angle.  Can someone please tell me if there is there a way of tightening the ball joint behind?  I can see 2 screws either side but I assume they just fixing screws.

Difficult to do without breaking the glass. 

One suggestion is a blob of glue...set it where you want and let it dry.
