Hey guys,

The 2 rivets came apart on the rear tail from my 1971 Challenger.  I know this is pretty common with these.  I'm going to grind the outside of the rivets down so I can fit them back in the holes and then I figured I would epoxy or JB weld the two pieces together.

Am I on the right track or are there better and stronger suggestions. Is it possible to weld them from the back side?  Anything is appreciated.  Thanks

Dave

Clean off the old mating surface so it's flat, install the emblem and bolt it in the car. No need to attach the two pieces. :alan2cents:

Never even thought of that.  I like it.  Less work.  Thanks
