So we have the drivers and passenger top window channel that we have to put back in but the stick on weather-stripping is worn out. Can we just use household stuff for like doors etc.? looks like it was about 1" wide and a 1/4" thick. What do we use?

You can buy the gaskets on Ebay made by DMT.If you buy something else make sure it will compress.I used a little weatherstripping adhesive to secure the gasket to the drip rail and then some to put the other gasket on the weatherstripped channel.

1/4" might be too thick, more like 1/8" thick maybe. Years ago I used to buy self adhesive foam that you put under truck caps, it was too wide but when cutting it in half, you could do two drip rail weather-strip channels. :D

Nowadays I just buy the excellent body gasket kits from DMT
