Indentations on front of hood

I found that there was a pretty good size dent in the hood just to the passenger side of center.   As I am working on it,  there appears to be an indentation on the driver side of center also. Is this normal,  or do I have 2 dents to fix?

That's typically from someone pushing hard to slam the hood closed.

A buddy of mine had similar dents in his hood..... They matched up to his GF's butt cheeks....
