It was in the plan to go back to the original hood. I have it and it was painted with the car so it's all good. Thinking I might run the hood that's on it for this summer and see how I feel about it then.

Yea...I know... :drinkingbud:

Before you even got the car you had told me on the phone you didn't like the hood and were likely going to swap it out....I see why....it doesn't suit the car at all :alan2cents:

Looks like you have LEDs in the side marker lights.  I bought LEDs for my Dart side markers too.  I hope they are red LEDs.  I first tried white ones and it turned the lens pink when they came on.  The same thing happened with the front side markers.  The white LEDs bleached out the amber lens.  You need to run colored LEDs in them.  :bigthumb:

Love '68's and yours is stunning Murray! IMO the best year of the Charger.

Undeniably the best year.... 69's are close but the round tail lights, round markers & the recessed open grill are all perfect.... I do like the 69 wood grained console more ....

70 isn't nearly as cool, I've owned two of them so clearly I like them just not as much as a 68 or 69....

In 66 & 67 Chargers were ok but nothing special.... In 68 the designers absolutely nailed it.... And they were 100% right not to put any sort of scoops on the 68-9 or 70, it jut doesn't compliment the lines of the car....

Did all you lads notice that the aforementioned looker, Black Betty, was sitting in front of a sample of Murray's fleet? The other two Challengers are hiding inside that big assed shed! LOL Congrats Murray, it looks good even though I kinda liked the stealth black on black thing. I'm not a paint daub, date coded ashtray guy, so the hood's alright with me. Besides, it's got enough engine, attitude and shine to carry it off if you decide to keep it on. Your car, your call.  :bigthumb:
