I believe that I am missing the bracket that holds the upper end of my jack stem on top of the wheel well?    I can't imagine that the jack should just sit between the outer fender and the wheel well.  My worry is that the jack will eventually damage the outer fender.

Can one of you share a picture of what it should look like??

If mine is actually missing ..... what can I do to replace, or has someone found a suitable replacement?

Thanks all .....  Merry Christmas!!

Is this what you're looking for?

I'm not near my car right now so I can't get a picture of it installed, but I'm sure someone else here will do so.

I hope these photos help.

This one?  Repro on the bottom.  I think I bought it from Wilson Productions but I don't see it listed on his site.  Maybe give him a call if that's the part you're looking for.

Yea that should be welded in, but if it's too late, just get some good panel bond adhesive :alan2cents:
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

Thanks guys ...... that is a huge help and yes, it is too late as the trunk is sprayed.   I will go with Alan's suggestion to mount it with the panel adhesive
once I get the part.   Will check with Dave or Jon at Roseville.

Upon further searching, it appears that everyone is either sold out or they want to sell all 4 pieces of the jack holder.

By chance does anyone out there have a spare they would be willing to sell??   I certainly don't want to spend $100US on a bracket
that will barely be seen.

Thanks again!

A suggestion if you need one quickly. Buy the 3 pieces and sell the 2 pieces you don't need to recoup some of your cost back.

Good point Terry.     Those and all the other spare parts that I have

Good suggestion if I can't find just the part.

That's great it worked out for you. BTW. Looking at my photos, it looks like there is a material on that bracket possibly to avoid noise from vibration. My jack hasn't been out in decades. I'll need to remove it and check out the material and replace if needed.

Yes, there's a small piece of grey flannel/Jute glued to the bracket where the Jack post rests.

chaps70rt

I think I have that grey jute somewhere??    I believe I ordered it off eBay years ago.
