I'm so glad this worked out for you and hopefully this thread will help others. Like I already said the Eastwood kit did not work for me.

My windows have a dark tint to them so maybe it makes imperfections more obvious.

Did you spray a lot of water to avoid heating up the glass as it doesn't take long for the glass to heat up?

@nsmall not much water at all and used only for cooling never while sanding. I did however use it to re-activate the polish spraying it while polishing. I watched the temp carefully until I learned how pads generated heat.

@HP_Cuda I tried but they just wouldn't show up on phone camera. There were about 30 scratches ranging from 1/4 inch the 4 inches in length. They could be felt with fingernail. There are a couple of tiny pits that are too deep and they will remain though smaller.

For the majority of scratches, this can be done but it takes a little patience and a general understanding of the process. Practice helps.

try to polish the whole surface evenly  once you have thin & thick ares it will  distort the view
