Upper Rear Crossmember Shock Tower

Working on the back half of a '71 Barracuda and looking at the rear left side of the shock tower, noticed a bigger hole.  Right side looks good.  The rest of the crossmember looks good.  Repair of replace?

I think it would be less work to repair it. No overhead welding to repair it either.

The rest of the crossmember looks good.  I found some steel shims with the same thickness and size hole that match up with the good side.
