:wrenching: Hello everyone; just want to ask or see which fender fits best before I buy fenders for my car, I see that there's 3 versions out there AMD , Good mark , and Golden star? I hear good things about AMD but haven't heard anything about the others? What are your experiences with these? I am on a budget.  :thinking:Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

Cuda Cody

None of them are perfect.  A lot of people like AMD, but they will all need to be fitted and "massaged" to fit your car.   It's best o do both fenders at the same time.  If one is a little different then the other (factory with aftermarket) it can be extra hard to get the hood to line up.   :alan2cents:  It can be done, but none of these metal replacement parts are bolt on (or weld on) and go.

I used AMD on my Cuda and they were real good. Got one for my Challenger and it was terrible. Never could understand why. Everything else was great.

:wrenching: Thanks; I guess I will try to see if I can get a good deal on a set of AMD.  Don't want to be messing around to much trying to get things to align especially when we get close to paint phase.

I don't know how AMD are right now. Whatever you get try to mount them and the hood you are going to use as quick as you can to check for fit. I had a customer call the other day, he had bought AMD shaker hood and fenders, got the car ready for paint 3 years ago and then it sat. He must not have mounted the hood because now he wants to paint the car and says there is a half inch difference between the height of the hood in the middle and the crown of the fenders. He's been doing paint and body for 30 years but not fitting the parts before going any further like this is a big no-no.
