Is the window moulding trim different for years later than 70?  The car had 3 pieces in the trunk when we bought it.  2 were the same and one was slightly different.  The 2 that were alike were slightly nicer and seemed to fit, so I cleaned them up, painted the galvanized steel part and polished the stainless part.  When I tried to install them today, none of the holes line up.  Not even close.  Are these for later year Challengers?  It seems like I can just drill new holes in the car to line up to the slots in the moulding.  I could also drill new holes in the moulding to line up to the original locations, but the moulding has slots for adjustment in and out.  I am sure that I am not the first to encounter this problem.
Thanks

I ran into this once before, I do believe the later ones are different....I know the weather-strip is different as well. I think re-drilling the trim would be easier

70 is 70 only.
