avatar_Lunchbox @Lunchbox, you might want to check with the Carlisle staff to confirm that you can enter on Thursday as a walk-in spectator.  I know that they do monitor the gate traffic starting on Thursday morning and you will need a Vendor Sticker to drive into the event.  I know years ago, they offered an  "Early Bird" ticket for those who wanted to enter into the grounds on Thursday and I cannot imagine them turning people away if they can sell you a ticket for the day.  The website just allows you to purchase admission tickets online for Friday through Sunday.  I am thinking that the "multi-day pass" listed on the website for $25.00 will get you in on Thursday and you will still need to purchase a pass for the other days as well.  It is best to give them a call to get an answer to your questions.  The Carlisle Staff is great in providing you assistance while your at the show or with any questions or concerns.

I agree, give them a call.  I'm just a spectator, kinda vendor (a few crappy old parts).

Quote from: TripleBlk70 on May 31, 2025, 07:39:11 PMIf I go, it will be 100% to find and purchase parts for my build. I love looking at cool cars, but every day I take to do that right now is a day I take away from building my own so I need to stay focused.

To dig one level deeper in what I am likely to find for sale there, here's a quick list of what I need - are these the kinds of things I'm likely to be able to pick up. (for instance, I don't need any body panels/sheet metal)

- subframe connectors & torque box braces
- sure grip unit (clutch style not cone) either rebuilt or one to rebuild
- rack & pinion unit
- front suspension rebuild components
- disc brakes (front and rear)
- rebuild components for 8 3/4 rear end
- harness/controller for 8hp70 trans

You are looking for all those parts new, correct?

Like what was said before, you need to make sure the vendors that attend carry those parts. But you also need to make sure they are bringing those specific parts.
Are you looking for a specific brands of disk brakes? Specific rack and pinion? They all come with complete front ends. Except for Unisteer that has very bad reviews. I sorta doubt Unisteer would be at that show.

So much to do there  . . Get there early in the morning and hunt all day.  With the club tent, you can leave parts there as typically someone in the tent most of the time, then head out again. I think purple1 has a hand cart as well if needed.  Had fun searching for parts for avatar_ViperMan @ViperMan when he was in the market for some hard to find pieces.  Good luck
Drive it like you stole it . . . And they're CHASING you!

If you go to the spring or fall show you'll be lucky if you find 2 vendors selling Mopar parts. Mopar Carlisle is a must show for anything Mopar related.
