CMC Mo-Power Madness car show and Swap Meet Downers Grove, IL June 7, 2026

The Chicagoland Mopar Connection is hosting their annual spring car show at Cozzis Corner Restaurant in Downers Grove Illinois. This is a great Mopar show that got over 170 cars last year, and also has a swap meet full of Mopar goodies. Goal is to get 200 cars this year!

The first picture is of a 1983 Imperial. I can't believe any car from the 1980's is still around. That had to be the worst decade for cars.
I was surprised to see so many '78-'79 Dodge Magnums. I would love own one of those someday.

The red Magnum GT is actually mine!  My first B body and I've had a lot of fun with it. I rotate my local show and cruise night activities between it and my Challenger convertible.
There's 2 other Magnums in the area I see regularly.  The other 2 are black, one of which is the '79 next to my car at that show.
Then there is a black 78 with a sunroof still owned by the original owner.  He drives it a lot and even has been taking it on Power Tour in recent years.

Chicagoland Mopar Connection will once again host this show in 2026.
Weather has been great every year so far for this location, hoping 2026 will extend the winning streak!

I split my time between vending and displaying a car last year.
I'm thinking I might just vend this time, get rid of some clutter I hope!
