Ok show is almost over!  Who went and how was the show?  I hear it rained afternoon Saturday and many pulled out!  I have seen some of the pictures posted.  Looks like the ebodies were in a new area but not bad from my history of the layout of the show.  Certainly closer to the grand stand . .

This years show was awesome! Friday was hot. The rain in the afternoon Saturday chased a lot of people and a lot of vendors away, but it didn't last long and cooled every thing down and was a relief.

It was also great to see some old friends and meet some new one too. We even tried to recruit a few new members.

I will post more tomorrow, and I'll post some pictures up as well. For now I got to get a little sleep. My son and I are going back tomorrow to scope out some hopefully closer and better hotels.

I had a great time this year.. It was fun meeting everyone and the tent location was much better than other years... I hope it's the same spot next year you could see a lot from there...Thanks to everyone for being so upbeat and inviting...The afternoon lunch was great thanks to everyone involved...

You could see Dulcich signing autographs from the tent... I went up the hill and checked out the Sherman tank{ I was surprised they let you climb in it} and the air raid siren that went off a few times over the weekend...

My wife shot me down on buying the TRX on display..Darn it LOL... And it was hot but I took a few breaks out of the sun..It wasn't as bad as other years on the heat but still hot....

Hot and humid but great show, rain shower on Saturday afternoon but didn't last long. They basically swapped the B and E bodies locations . Another new record at 3200 vehicles!

Looks like fun times  . . Hopefully we can have an epic turnout with all the old timers returning to the show next year!  Sad that what used to be 40 to 50 members is now a dozen . . My memory is terrible but I can think of many members that need to return to the show next year!

Certainly the best Mopar show anywhere!

Member turnout was a bit better than the last couple years but I agree we need to get a lot more members to return next year and of course always great to have new ones as well.

Spectator turnout was off in my opinion.  We are vendors at K149-151 and foot traffic was off.  Does Carlisle Events post number of spectator tickets sold year-by-year?  Those numbers would be interesting to see.  I'm sure if they report attendance numbers, every show car and vendor spot counts as two people, which is over-stating attendance.  We pay for 4 vendor spots which equates to 8 people, but there are only 2 of us for example.  Our sales revenue was about average, so the people who did come spent money so that's good.  We didn't raise prices so valid comparison.  Any other vendors see the same thing?

Our vending spots.  On Friday afternoon there was a micro-burst which sent the canopy tents located across the street in row M & N twirling up into the air and crashing down on the pavement.  Just missed a guy.  Then launched in the air again and back down.  No one hurt and no vehicles damaged.

I agree we had a better turnout. But I have never seen this many E's here before. So if you love e-bodies, you need to come to this show!

Pizza party turnout was also better, I think it was 12-15 of us. However, none of our members was staying there. And the back parking lot was full of other peoples car trailers.  :o
