Chicken is cooked, shredded, vacuum sealed and soaking in its juices for the next 5 days.  Also got some homemade sauces ready, with a hot version of course!

Ask any chef and they'll tell ya - chili is always better after it sits for a few days.  I've made this meal twice this year just to practice, and in both cases it was better after a few days, and that was only sitting in tupperware containers in my fridge.  This time it's vacuumed sealed in a bag filled with the juice it cooked in for 6 hours...  Trust me - you're not going to want to spill any of this on your head or your tongue will beat your brains out trying to get to it!!

(Plus, I figured the hotel wouldn't like me slow-roasting chicken in the room all-day Thursday...   :haha:)

MEK-Dangerous

Good question - Ashley and I didn't get any!

I think a few last-minute guests showed up at the tent, and so I was shy about 1-2 pounds of chicken.  We were so close!
