Vehicle Details
This 1970 Plymouth Barracuda Gran Coupe 2-Door Hard Top was built in Los Angeles, CA. I purchased from its original owner in 2004. He purchased the vehicle new in 1970 from Cavanaugh Motors in Almeda, CA. Original Appraisal reads this is a numbers matching original, garage kept, very well maintained example that we all hope to find hiding out in a heated basement as this one was.

This Barracuda has most of its original High Impact Vitamin-C paint (front fenders above mounding shows some paintwork), 318 V8 engine with a few upgrades, Color Keyed Racing Mirrors, Torqueflite Transmission and Black Vinyl Top. Original Keys, Owner's Manual, Window Sticker and a ton of Service Records dating back from 1971 are included. A few modifications include American Racing Torque Thrust Wheels with BF Goodrich Tires (original hubcaps are included, see photo), Competition Cam, Performance 2200 rpm Stall Converter with Torqueflite Kick-down cable kit, Edlebrock Carburetor, Hooker Headers with Flowmaster Dual Exhaust with Electronic Collectors (switch is hidden in center console, great to uncork during car shows but do rattle a bit if not completely closed), recent tune-up, new MSD distributor, copper plugs, wires, fuel lines, LOF, more! Unrestored with 50 years of minor dings & scratches but overall nice original condition. Please feel free to ask questions before bidding.
