1971 Challenger Pace Car from old Flemington, NJ Speedway

Does anyone know the current location of this car? I grew up seeing it and have been trying to get my hands on it for years. Last I saw it, it was sold from a dealer in the Midwest and obviously the dealer wouldn't tell me who bought it.

Any leads/info would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hi Erik,

I believe moparts member RSI700VIPER owned the car at one point. I almost bought it from him about 5 or 6 years ago. He still posts over there.

He did, but sold it. He brought it to our Father's Day Show a couple of times. It sold last year from the dealer in the Midwest. I saw it listed and called but it had sold a few days before. Bad timing!

I hope not. But that was the first thing that crossed my mind when it sold at the dealer.

That's cool. Always great to see someone find what they are looking for. So far that's as close to the perfect car as I've seen!!

Glad you got it back and that someone else didn't pick it up, repaint it and lose its history.
