I actually prefer a 383.

I would stroke it to 489, put on some stealth heads ported like crazy, roller cam, performer intake, all painted orange.

One would never know you will have close to 600hp under the hood.

Yes: I prefer a 383 as well in an E-body, A engine for A-body.

:iagree:  I like my 383, I have had several. I have family as long as I can remember relying on them.

Same here. I like having a 383 in my Challenger.
Never understood the anti-383 attitudes.

I like the car for the most part.. Never been a fan of vinyl tops or billboards... But this car is cool / different. 383's can get out of their own way just fine and I have always love manual transmissions in e-bodies. I don't know that this is a six figure car, but it is pretty nice and unique.

I think it looks GREAT!! Love the H6T7 two-tone interior!! I would gladly welcome that beauty into my garage. If I did, I would actually consider removing those billboards and trying to find a set of the original V5X black vinyl moldings to put back on it. Other than that ... no complaints here!!
Cheers!

Tis' better to have owned classic Mopars and lost than to have never owned at all (apologies to Alfred Lord Tennyson)
