Is there a reason to have a lightning rod shifter? 
I've never had one?  Nor got one in a car I've purchased.

Cool car. Gonna take some $$$$ to "de hot rod" it, if that's what you were going to do with it. I just went through almost the same with mine. Can't say I've ever seen TWO six pack air filters stacked on one another....lol.
