 "can get one if needed"  I dont know about new hampshire but most of the states require a title. I did buy a couple cars from NY and they only had a registration and i was able to get a NJ tiitle no problem.

@mopartaz  Title's did not appear in NY until 1973. prior to that the registration served as the title.

I live in NH.  NH doesn't title cars prior to 2000.  I have no title for my 71 Cuda or 67 Camaro.  They won't even do it if you ask unless you have a lien.
