7E-Bodies

I was just digging through some old pics from around 2017 and realized I hadn't posted these. I actually know a guy that used to own this car for a few years. He sold it in 1987 I think, with a Hughes built 440 and a 4 speed conversion from console 727. It was absolutely lethal to drive. A real rocket. To my knowledge the 383 was long gone. While a friend of his was looking this over in 2017, it was being said that a numbers matching 383 was at a local machine shop. Curious, he decided to go there and ask to see the block. Now I'm no forensic expert on stampings, so I'll let you all have a look. I'm not sure where this car ended up, but I thought I'd toss it out there in case anyone was looking at it. There's an unverified story floating around that the car had been rear ended and had had a rear clip put on it earlier in it's life.

So I take it nobody ran across this car?
