Up for sale is my Mom's 1970 Challenger convertible. Its a numbers matching car with factory white paint (1 of 99 supposedly) and a factory red interior (1 of 137 supposedly). It has its build sheet as well as its original fender tag. When we got the car, the factory 318 was built up to a 340 and lots of aftermarket parts were installed. We sourced the correct factory 340 parts to make it a stock looking motor. The trans is the original numbers matching A-904 trans that has a shift kit installed by the previous owner. It is a very early built car as the scheduled production date is 9/28/69. We have had the car for over 13 years and it has been maintained meticulously. Car has been driven from Northern NJ out to Chryslers at Carlisle multiple times without any issues and was also selected for the retro dealership display back in 2010. The car has won numerous awards as well as its AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America) National Junior and Senior awards. Many extra parts go with the car as we would prefer to sell it as a package since we just acquired my Great Grandmother's 1957 Dodge 2 door Suburban wagon and we need room for the car as well as space to put the parts when we fix it up.

Asking price is $60,000 with the extra parts included, which includes the factory 318 parts, new Metro red plastic front door panels, and many other hard to find and one year only parts. Please PM me with questions or email me at resq302 at aol.com and I will do my best to get back to people as soon as possible.

Beautiful vert!  You did a nice job on the 318 and the underside looks amazing.

Was it originally equipped with the 8 3/4?  Curios as our convert is an august 318 car and it has the 7 1/4.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.  I put everything I got into our cars to make them as pristine and correct as possible.  Yes, I was over on the cuda-challenger site as well.  Lots has happened since then..... I sold my house and got a bigger one which the wife wanted (its ok, I got a bigger garage with an 11' high ceiling so I could get a lift) I sold my 69 Charger 3 years ago and we got another 69 GTX convertible in the family to replace my charger.  We did an extensive nut and bolt resto on it and its actually nicer than my Dad's GTX convertible.  The upside is that mine is a factory 4 spd car and his is the automatic.  We had both of them out to Carlisle this year going head to head, father vs. son, and I edged him out by getting second and he got third.  I also got a celebrity pic for my car as well.

JS - ok, thanks for the heads up on that.  My email is resq302 at aol.com if anyone has any questions about the car.  I'll update that in the listing.

Brad - how've you been man ?  Hope all is well with you.
