Interesting thing I just noticed, maybe someone has history. Some LD340s have Chrysler part #s, some don't. I assume the one that has Chrysler part #s were stocked by Direct Connection.

But I also noticed....some LD340s have divorced choke mount, others do not. It seems from a Google image search that the ones that DON'T have the divorced choke location also don't have the Chrysler part #s...make sense..

But take a look at this one I just picked up. Chrysler part #s, but no divorced choke mounting location. Maybe  a 1 of 1 intake? LOL?

MY GUESS:

a later year LD340 intake when Dodge/Plymouth stopped using divorce choke...nothing rare....but nice to have those chrysler part #s because it's probably a Direct Connection order...

So yes, I'm back to my plan of fitting an electric choke on my Carter AVS 750.
