Hello everyone, I would like to hear your opinions on where you would purchase a new gas tank and good sending unit for my 71 Cuda
I appreciate you guys and this site has been so helpful!

Several options depending on what you're doing:

If you're using a stock fuel pump/carb set up, one easy option is to buy the tank from Rosevillemoparts.com.  They're a sponsor here so you can get a 10% discount.

I have a FiTech throttle body fuel injection set up so I bought the tank and internal fuel pump from Tanks Inc to get the needed higher fuel delivery pressure.

You can also use a stock tank with an external electric pump and a pressure regulator on a carb or throttle body injection.   From what I've read, the external pumps tend to be noisier compared to the internal ones, but they're easier to reach for servicing.

There are several threads elsewhere here about replacement level sending units not being very accurate.   I'll add them to this post if I can find them.   Roseville is among the many vendors that sell the replacement units.

The Tanks systems sending units seems to be accurate FYI

I reached out to Roseville ( as I usually do) this summer when I replaced my tank.  i wanted a stock style but stainless.  They use to sell them but not anymore.  They told me that I had to buy it direct at vans auto

I am really happy with it so far.
