70 Challenger Heater Box

Has anyone experience with the new repro front outer heater boxes. I like using original parts but to find an unbroken box maybe difficult. Good or bad and does the material look like an original with the fiber in it. The pictures that are posted show the Pentstar stamped in it or are they using a picture from an original box. Are the brackets on of off when purchased. I see two different part #'s also ME1654 & 6623 or HB6623
Anyone that could help would be great.

I don't have any experience with the injection molded one so I'd like to hear what people have to say about it. I looked for an original for 2 years before finding one so I understand your dilemma. The worst part is that I have one with an absolutely perfect lip but there is a hole in the flat part with a patch screwed over it...you never see holes there! If you want to try to repair that one, I'll send you a pic.

Cuda Mark, I can get the one I have fixed. I was just looking into a different Idea before doing that.
