@cqm964  I'm not sure how to get this across so that it makes sense.
There is NO CLIPS...NO SCREWS...NO GLUE on the interior window weather-strips. They simply snap in place on the panel.

The correct pieces (available in reproduction... TopCat brand are the best) have a channel that you just push on to the interior panel.
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

Your "good, used original set - did they simply snap in place, or use some type of fastener. Bonus question - any pictures?

They snapped in place the same as the photos Alan posted..

Which brings us back to what brand of weatherstrips did you buy? Cause Alan & I have both been around these cars a long time....The only inside weatherstrips that are attached with some kind of hardware are the junk ones that should be thrown in the trash...

And Alan, this is a good time to point out why I bitch so much about low quality reproduction parts.... You always say price point is the most important factor when clearly your will to spend a few dollars more for the right weatherstrips...  And I'm sure there are other parts that you'll spend more for....
