Was considering purchasing these for my 71 Cuda.  I'm missing one of the originals and the one I have was cut off a bit shourt.  My question is how was the Chrome portion of the tip welded to the pipe?  My original looks like it has 3 spot welds about 1/4" from the edge of the Chrome.  These look to be welded differently... welded along the edge of the chrome?  Would these be considered factory correct or am I being too picky?  Experts out there have any thoughts?

Here are some I sold awhile back.  I believe they were older production NOS.

Thanks Floyd.  The original I have looks like yours.
I'm not sure whether to grab these off ebay or wait for a set with the spot welds?  I haven't seen any like mine for a reasonable price.
