I have been looking for a good set of late 71 valve covers for my Cuda since the Mounds Rd engines used slightly different valve covers than the 70-71 style and I see that (AMD) Auto Metal Direct has a new set of 72 style that have the correct looking tabs and brackets. I have been happy with their quality for body panels but thought I read about fitment issues with their big block valve covers a while back. Has anybody tried their valve covers and how the quality of them are ?

I'll show you a set next time you come over Ross.

I've used one set of big block covers, they fit well, seal well & look pretty close, there are minor details but unless your super anal they are fine...

pic of my 73 340 originals. Notice the PCV area. Seems more "crisp" or stamped, even a little flat. Other than that, looks right.
