Clint Howarth sure does have and post a lot of really cool cars!

I don't get the red tail panel on this car.  Understand the rest, kind of but that red rear is odd.

What people today don't understand is this car was a $850 body only purchase back in 1972 and even though convertible US cara were winding down no one new what production numbers were of US cars. No internet to research so no one knew. It wasnt till around 1980 that Chrysler sent Kevin Faris a letter stating the production number of the 14 Hemi Cuda converts and this was one of the 5 four speed cars built in 70. They offered him any new Chrysler product in trade for the Cuda for their collection. From that point on the production numbers were becoming public knowledge. So it was just another pony car to a 19 year old in 1972 when he purchased and started to modify it for the street.
