Under $10K would be stealing it in my opinion... :foul:

So is this thing really an R/T SE? I know anything could have been changed over the years but I don't see 'Special Edition' door panel inserts, SE roof emblems, or belt moldings. Rear window is just dropped in there, might be a spare just to plug a missing back windshield? Is there a door sticker still? And if so is it a JS29N VIN? Is there evidence of the SE tail panel, front valance molding, how about cardboard headliner?

To be honest it would be better if it turned out to be 'only' a JS23 car, much less expensive to find parts and restore.

But agree 10k is a steal, I would try to use the missing dash VIN as a bargaining chip, I would think with that remedied it's easily a 15k car.
Presuming a factory big block, 4-speed, and with a/c no less. Desirable combo for sure.

Some of us out here are looking for a donor car.  Early production only.

With no numbers, the car quickly becomes parts for donor cars.

Rust makes a huge difference on this car as to it's worth.

@1970FC7  Can you take more pictures of the underside?  the quarters corners, the trunk and the rails?

Have you check in the seats for a build sheet yet?

Looks to be a green car originally.

cuda hunter- if I could get back over there to look at the car be I would have. It's only been a week but the owner has stalled in getting back to me as I've left voicemail and text messages. The car is behind a trailer and there is no way I can get under the car to look at the underside. There are black widow spiders all over the place and I wouldn't crawl around in that car until it's spray bombed. An owner serious about selling would have responded already. Some guys have these cars sitting around for years rotting away, they get an offer to buy and sound interested but then have second thoughts and pass. I'll let you know if I hear back.

All you can do is try.  Not surprising really.  Glad these types of cars are still out there sitting behind things.

Owner has probably been looking at auction results online and is now convinced the car is worth $100K as it sits...
