Choke rod

I have a 1970 Challenger with a 383 4barrel with a 3/4" spacer under the Carb to make clearance for a modern AC compressor. The problem is the Choke isn't closing completely. Does anyone know of someone who makes custom linkages? The Carb is a Carter AVS.

I have just made my own using similar gauge welding rod

Should be able to fab something up. Welding rod is a good idea.

I think coat hangar is the right thickness, it's been about 30 years since I fabbed one up.
