I was talking to Dan Brewer the other day about clutches & he mentioned that there were several different springs used depending on engine & clutch. I need more information before I can call Dan back, but I was wondering if anybody else had the chart for those springs. I measured mine this morning at .367 wire diameter. This is on my 70 cuda. It was changed to a 4 speed....thank you, Joe

I'm only aware of one factory over centre spring. They can't be used with a diaphragm clutch though.

That's what Dan Brewer said also on diaphragm. There are 4 spring part numbers in the parts catalog for 1970....Joe

Go with a diaphragm clutch and do away with the over center spring.  I like the way it drives and clutch pedal pressure is light.  Just my opinion.
