Wondering if someone has some thoughts on the 1970 cuda convertible fuel vent tube. The Blue car picture is what I believe to be the correct routing but obviously it looks terrible. The purple picture shows the coupe but using this routing hits the top boot area for the convertible top. Has anyone figured out a way around this?

I don't recall there being any issue with the vent lines getting into the well liner area, there's a big plate there that would prevent that on the convertibles...

On my convertible it's tucked behind the brace and doesn't interfere with the boot.

Went out and took a picture. I zip tied it to the brace too. That blue one looks like it just needs to pulled up higher to the next bends in the tubes to position it behind the brace. That is as long as it hasn't been cut or altered.
It's a hi-res picture so click it to enlarge.

Your first pictures are of a hardtop, you do realize that convertible takes a different vent tube right ? :alan2cents:

@Jay Bee yours is what I am looking for, but the vent I purchased (in-line tubes) is not pre-bent this way. Did you purchase yours and if so from where?

Ok, just a little update. So I did have the correct vent tube after all. I didn't realize two key points. The blue car picture and the Jay Bee's picture are actually of the same part. The Blue car picture shows the vent tub in the wrong location. After seeing Jay Bee's and looking at my part for a while I finally concluded they were the same. Second key point is that the PO replaced the frame rail at some point and there wasn't a thru frame hole there. Luckily a step bit and a grinder fit so now there is a hole. Painted it so we should be good to go for this task. Next questions will be on a six pack air cleaner assy pictures on a separate post.
