In the very early stages of planning my EFI fuel system for my G3 Gran Coupe.  I'd like to utilize the original ECS vapor separator if possible, but I'm not sure if connecting the vapor line to the manifold evac port will provide enough "push" to properly vent the tank, or if (on the other end) the fuel system will provide enough "suck" to evac the engine of crank case pressure.

Aeromotive sells both tank options, one with all the original hooks up including the ECS ports, or one with out as the pump head has return/supply/vent ports.

Not sure if anyone has any idea to the temperamental nature of the ECS.

I have a FiTech system and use the the factory venting system.
Pressure build up in the tank is vented to the engine.
Fumes are then burned through PCV system.

System is not designed to "push" anything from engine to tank.

I guess my hurdle was I hadn't planned to utilize the air filter portion of the system and a 3 prong breather cap to provide vacuum into the intake.  I'm using an OE air cleaner so it wouldn't be hard to do.

I'm assuming if this is the way it was setup originally, the tank still vents adequately enough to prevent any issue with fuel supply.

Been running my system that way for 2 years in 90+ weather here in FL with no issues.
Check out Spectra tanks on RockAuto, great price and works well.
