303 Mopar

Went out for a cruise last night, and my son shot these videos from the back of my buddies '67 Mustang convertible.  I used iMovie to throw them together with a little AC/DC.

Nice video! Honestly, your Cuda is one of my favorites.  There are just enough modern accessories to make it look up to date but not any over the top custom mods to distract from the original lines.  :bradsthumb:

The only thing that I think would make it better is some LED tail lights and maybe LED grill turn signals. Has anyone ever filled the entire side marker housing with LEDs so the entire thing lights up?(instead of just one small light in the long housing) That would look really good.

Thank you @Burdar. I have LED's for taillights, but that is a great idea on the turn signals and side markers.  I know that once you start adding LED's for turn signals you need to add relay's, etc and wiring is my nemesis.

Actually you use relays when dealing with higher amp loads, LEDs reduce the load, they draw very little current.... So the problem is they don't load the turn signal flasher enough to make it flasher... So you replace the flasher with a newer design electronic flasher.....

FWIW There's a viper green Challenger with LEDs in the side markers, it looks great... But Challenger side markers have allot more room then Cuda side markers....  It could be challenging...

Yah, all you need is an electronic flasher from the parts store.

Do you have a single LED bulb in the tail light housing or a bunch of LEDs like this?

Thanks guys.  I have a single LED bulb only, so just a swap of the flasher is it?  Any idea of the part number or pic?

I have the LED tail lights from them, trouble free so far and MUCH brighter/safer!  :bradsthumb:

Normally at like Advance Auto, they will have three different kinds on the shelf.  On the package they say "Good, Better and Best".  It's the fully electronic one that says Best.  The original style ones will be housed in a metal canister.  The electric ones have a dark tinted plastic housing.

:bravo: Dan, that is an awesome video and your fish looks fantastic! :ohyeah:
I hope to make a video of mine eventually, but I don't have a cool place to cruise like you do, I live 20 miles from the sticks.
Thanks for sharing

Cheers!
