Sorry to hear of this.  The Silver Fox as he was known. #21. Wood Brothers from Stuart, Va. My home town, went to school with Eddie and Lynn.  He was a great driver.

And the Woods Bros were the first pit crew to realize they could win  the races in the pits..... They completely changed race strategy...

Wow I haven't heard about this. He was certainly one of the top 5 all time greats. About 5 years ago I was at the race in darlington and I saw him walking through the crowd, nobody knew who he was, I couldn't help but approach him and get him to sign my hat. He gladly obliged, seemed like a nice guy. RIP silver fox
