Demon carb air cleaner interference with choke plate shaft.

Demon carb air cleaner base interfering choke pivots - anyone else run into this? I am swapping from a Holley 750DP that doesn't have a choke horn to this Demon and the choke pivots are binding on the base. Anyone have a suggestion for a base that will work, it's a 3/4" drop? I did take my pick hammer to the base to clearance it for now but not 100% happy with it. I have searched Summit but many of thier air cleaners and bases don`t have a clear pic of the mounting flange and the one Demon specific one doesn`t list what the drop is.

Can you just radius the base to allow it to clear?

It's not easy to find air cleaner setups that work - its usually a hit or miss thing and you find yourself owning several cleaners you won't use. Don't ask...

I searched Summit and they were either the same or they didn`t have a good pic of the base so I just grabbed the pick hammer and clearanced the one I had.
