Had to buy new handles and locks/keys.  The lock set is for a 71 e body, but I'm not seeing how the supplied clips hold the drum into the handles.  I'm guessing it takes a special retainer?

I can see how these clips would work on a vehicle where the lock slides through the door skin, like on a 70 Roadrunner.  Not seeing how this could work here.

Do you have your old handles, there's a special cast aluminum piece the screws on with two screws to retain the lock. There's a left and right also....not reproduced
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

Yep, had the same problem,  One of the really awesome folks on this here website helped me with my missing driver side retainer.  Just fyi, they are stamped on the back with an 'RH' 'LH'.  But it sounds like you need both..  You're probably just gonna have to find someone with a complete set of handles even if they're trashed.

Cuda and Challenger are the same and don't be alarmed when you see that they're sort of twisted when viewed from the side.  That's factory.

I wasn't able to find the original handles.  I got the car in boxes unfortunately.  If anyone has a set let me know!
