Fender pentastar

My 73 challenger has been repainted once, and I am going to be putting it back to factory condition.
Would a 73 challenger have had a pentastar on the lower passenger side fender dogleg?
Not sure when they stopped putting them on Mopars.

I would have guessed yes, but looking at the factory brochure I don't see it.

I believe 72 was the last year until the late 80s when it returned on Neons etc

72 was the last year.  The factory really started trying to cut costs in 73. 

1. No more /6 in an E-body
2. Same grill/tail panel design as 72.
3. Same fender mounted turn signal across multiple car lines.
4. Rallye no longer being its own separate model.
