Hi, Am I right saying that a A66 Challenger would'nt have fender turn signal even if it was A01 Light package?

That's true for 70-71 R/T's - no fender signals with A01. I have a 71 R/T with A01.
I have not come across an explanation why Dodge did that.

Never thought about it possbily carrying over to A66 cars.
Anyone with an A66 Broadcast sheet that show L31 fender signals?

I'd heard the reason was that the raised hood profile with an R/T hood obstructs the driver's view of the passenger side hood mounted turn signal indicator.  I never saw any factory documentation on that, but it makes sense that blocked view of the feature could be an issue.

I heard it was because the right one couldn't be seen with the rallye hood scoop in the way.

That's what I've heard also. True or not, I don't know.
