Does anyone have any experience with the Classic Industries fuel filler tube? This seems to be the only thing I have found. Curious about quality and fit. Are there any other options for replacements out there? Mine is in rough shape. Pretty rusty in and out. Thanks.

Those are both listed as 71-74. Is there a difference for '70? A one year only thing again? I forgot to mention mine is a '70. Roseville lists ones for 71-74 as well, but nothing for '70.

I think the gas cap is the only difference in 1970 vs the reproductions

So the 71-74 filler tube should work just fine? I know it's not very expensive if it is wrong, but I'd like to avoid being at the point of installation only to discover it won't work. Thanks guys.

Bullitt-

Why not get the right one? Cut down on future confusion on the right gas cap anyway.  :alan2cents: https://www.megapartsusa.com/proddetail.php?prod=183-FT70J

Agreed. That's why I was asking about the one listed at Classic Industries. It seems no one has bought one from them. No feedback anyway.
I think I'm going to get it from Classic. I'm very curious about their "non-licking fuel cap".
Their description, not mine. :haha:

I ran into this with my 70 Challenger. Mine was sold in CA so it has the big tube thing in the trunk N95 and the gas cap was different. I had a hard time finding the correct one that fits. As far as I could find there are 2 different filler necks and caps, depending if you had the N95 . I then some years later bought a new filler tube when I did the new tank and ran into it all over again. My suggestion is buy the filler neck and cap from the same source to hopefully avoid this mess.

Hmmmm.... I thought it was ok to lick since they took the lead out of gas in the 70's.

You can see about restoring that tube. Not sure how much $$ you wanna spend.

Wilson products - http://n96airgrabber.com/

I had the one done for my T/A here and it came out nice -

Archer tinning - http://www.archertinning.com/

Both will get that nice leaded finish on the tube. Archer was closer to me  (close enough to drive and pick up) but I did not find out about them until after.

Good luck!

Thank you @Ricomondo for the contact info. That at least gives me another option and options are good.

I bought the Year One part number FN70CHAL for my 70 Challenger.  It looked the same as the one I removed, which may or may not have been the original.
